Coaches Responsibilities

  • Coaches are responsible for making sure their athletes are following daily health screening and following proper chain of command for referral if symptoms arise. This includes communication with the team’s respective athletic trainer.
  • Coaches are responsible for reading and following the Ohio Department of Health Director’s Order that provides mandatory requirements for youth, collegiate, amateur, club and professional sports.

  • When inside, ensure ventilation systems and fans operate properly. Increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible (i.e. Open windows and doors).
